Full Description

ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVOURITE COTTAGES!
The discreet location hides a beautifully comfortable VILLAGE home with a SOUTH FACING GARDEN.

One of my all-time favourite cottages! The discreet location hides a beautifully comfortable home with a sunny garden.

The welcoming entrance hall leads through to the first of two adjoining reception rooms; both have fireplaces & both look down the length of the garden. The modern kitchen leads out to the sun terrace seamlessly and will be the heart of the home I suspect, a brilliantly sociable space for cooking, eating & drinking with friends & family. Upstairs are two good double bedrooms; both have lofty ceilings & look south over the pretty garden. The garden is a perfect size, level & enclosed. The sunny aspect can be enjoyed from many spots amongst the flowerbeds, veggie patch, lawn & seating areas. The garden store has light & power. Please note that the cottage is set away from the lane, there is no off-street parking & the bathroom is on the ground floor.

Church Lane is in the heart of Wingfield – a popular village south of Bradford-on-Avon. There is a village pub, The Poplars,
Primary school & church. Nearby Bradford-on-Avon offers enviable market town amenities including good schools, doctor & dentist, swimming pool & sports fields, library & Music Centre, many places to eat & drink, shops & boutiques and of course canal, river and country walks. The railway station offers a picturesque ride to Bath and Bristol city centres for high street shopping, entertainment and night life. Locally the county town, Trowbridge, also offers a great range high street shopping, amenities, cinema and a host of varied entertainment, a range of supermarkets and rail links too.
